Patients with appointments rarely wait more than 10 minutes. Patients without appointments commonly must wait for their insurance authorization to go through. For appointments scheduled ahead of time we are often able to obtain this authorization in advance. Scheduled patients also have first priority in being seen by a practitioner. If you did not have an appointment these are probably the reasons you had to wait. Also, sometimes it takes longer to fit a patient with complex problems. Please know that you too will receive the same level of care.
